Keep Your Pets Safe This New Year

Published on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Dogs and Puppies

As we enjoy the excitement of the fireworks many pets with much more sensitive hearing than ours find this time scary and stressful, the noise of the fireworks can send them into a world of terror and they will do anything to escape the noise, such as jump fences or dig under the fence.

This New Years before heading out,

Place your pets in a safe place inside the house with their favourite things with them like toys, bedding and blankets, make sure windows and curtains are shut.

Don't leave anything out that they could get hurt on, if they go into a panic with the noise.

Even leave the TV or Radio on so it will stop the affect of the fireworks,

Do this well in advance of any fireworks starting as once they start your pet may not be controllable.

Last thing always make sure your pet has current identification on them, and have a HAPPY and SAFE NEW YEAR.
