Description
The breeding of wild cats and domestic cats that make up the Bengal give these cats a blend of the stunning markings and strong bodies of the Asian Leopard Cat with the loyal, trusting temperament of the domestic cat, so its no wonder that theyre such a popular breed. With their spotted, striped or marbled coats, its easy to see their wild heritage in these beautiful cats. Bengals get bored very easily, so need lots of mental stimulation, as well as plenty of exercise to keep curious paws busy. Although not suited to a household where theyre going to be left alone for long periods of time, if you have plenty of time the energy to invest in your cat, then a Bengal will be a rewarding pet. As one of the few cat breeds that actually like water, you might even find your Bengal joining you at bath time.
