The Australian Mist was developed in Australia by inter-breeding Burmese, Abyssinian and domestic tabby cats, giving them a coat pattern that merges marbled and spotted patterns to form a misted effect. A breed that loves the company of people, he has a cheerful, friendly disposition and is happy to be kept as an indoor cat, as long as you provide him with plenty of environmental enrichment. Hes ideal family pet due to his placid, affectionate and tolerant nature - even as a kitten, you wont find him using teeth and claws during play. His short, silky coat requires very little grooming, so if you re looking for a low maintenance breed, the Australian Mist might be the right choice for you.
