Description
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an adorable and charming lap dog. They are not to be mistaken for the King Charles Spaniel. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a more modern breed, they are more fearless, they have a skull that is almost flat between the ears, the muzzle has a length of around 3.8cm, with a regular scissor bite, they are built like a sporting spaniel. They are an excellent choice for a companion dog because they always choose to be around their owners. They are not to be left alone for a long time and show separation anxiety when they see their masters leaving. They can track footsteps using their scent sense, just one of their innovative ways of finding their owners. These spaniels are happy to play with children and other animals. Due to their extreme friendliness to people, they are neither watch nor guard dogs. They will bark when necessary but even strangers can easily win the trust of this breed. As people pleasers, it is easy to train them obedience and dog tricks using motivational style of teaching. Indoor activities and short walks are enough as exercise.
