VIC - Rosie (F/3yrs) & Max (M/2yrs)
This gorgeous bonded pair of fun loving Boxers would like to find their forever home and as such, are now ready to be adopted.
They say once you feel relaxed in new company and new surroundings, you really start to let your true personality show and boy, is this definitely the case with these two wiggle butts! 😬
Foster Care has been a real blast for Max & Rosie - they sleep in beds, they explore everything and everything, they eat like royalty, they zoomie around the place full pelt, and they have taken over the laps, couches and hearts of their foster family.
Both dogs are lovable and affectionate, and will cuddle on demand. Max spends most of his days chilling on the conch or in your arms whilst Rosie has energy to burn with toys, playing and antics.
It is true to say that Miss Rosie is full of beans whilst Max is more the typical laid back Aussie. They do play with each other though.
Coming from a remote location, Max & Rosie have started work on their socialisation and walking on the lead. Everything is new and exciting and walking them can be interesting. Right now, both are highly stimulated at the sight of another dog out on their walks , people, whatever and as such are learning their way currently being walked separately. Their enthusiasm for life, age and keenness for a treat makes them the perfect students however a strong handler will be required for these two to ensure they learn and maintain their manners on the street.
The best type of home for these two would have the following:
- Boxer experienced owner and willing and capable to train them
- Ability to be inside & outside
- A good sized backyard to run around in
- A strong and capable dog handler with patience and consistency
- Daily walks to get them social
- An open door and spot on the couch policy as they are definitely family members
- No cats, sorry
- No children under high school again due to their enthusiasm
