QLD - Bridgy (m/6y)
Available for interstate adoption
Sweet Boy looking for a loving human mate
Bridgy grew up in a loving home, but unfortunately his human parents had to move overseas and could not take him along.
So they gave him to the RSPCA in hope to find a new home for him quickly.
Unfortunately, he spent 11 (!) long months in the shelter and was finally sold to someone with severe anxiety and anger issues.
He was repeatedly hit and yelled at by a male. This left him a bit scared of males and he moves away if he feels uncomfortable.
Despite his bad experience with males he easily warms up towards men with a gentle approach who give him time to open up.
With some effort he can get his trust back and you will have a great companion.
Bridgy ignores other dogs on walks, but he does not wish to socialise, as it makes him uneasy.
I - Dagmar - have met Bridgy myself and he is a big sook. He is just a ball obsessed, absolutely adorable little bloke who wants nothing more than
been loved and show his love to you.
He seems to bond especially to ladies and if you are home a lot he will be your shadow.
Snuggle up with this gorgeous boy in the cold winter evenings and watch a movie together, can it get better than that?
Please note that Bridgy is not a boxer cross as we were told previously, but a Staffy-Neapolitan Mastiff cross .
At the end of the day it does not matter, he is a really lovely boy who just deserves a welcoming home where he can be the only pet
and where there are no toddlers.
